Power and size: built for real-world use
Under the hood, this lamp runs on a high-intensity halogen UV engine. We didn’t cut corners on thermal performance, because these jobs demand speed without sacrificing control. It runs on 400V, which gives you the muscle to power the full 300mm tube without the voltage dipping. That means the light stays strong and even across the entire length. And the 2500W rating? That’s not a number for show. It’s the power you need to hit the right temperature and intensity—enough to flash-cure resin and break down UV film quickly. The 300mm length lines up with standard wafer carriers and typical jewelry curing setups, so you get full coverage without hot spots.
Why quartz and halogen make sense
The envelope is high-purity quartz, not regular glass. Quartz handles the heat swings from the halogen cycle and lets the UV through cleanly. Inside, the halogen gas keeps the filament steady, even at high temperatures. That stability matters, because it keeps the output from dipping—and dips are exactly what cause uneven curing. Then there’s the R7s connector. We chose it because it’s tough, simple, and meant for high current. It locks in, stays cool under load, and makes the lamp a straightforward drop-in replacement. Wire it once, and you’re set.
What it feels like to use it
In semiconductor wafer cutting, the lamp needs to remove UV film fast—without touching the wafer itself. With tight wavelength control, the energy gets right where it needs to go. The heat is dense, and the process is quick. Tape to bare wafer in seconds. Over in the jewelry studio, that same intensity means resin cures deep and fully in one pass. No more tacky surfaces. No more waiting around for a second or third cure. You get smooth, finished results, and your cycle times shrink.
One thing to plan for
Let’s be honest—2500W of halogen power puts out heat. A lot of it. So your machine’s cooling needs to be up to the task. If you size the cooling to match the lamp, you get steady, repeatable performance—day after day, right there on the shop floor.
