Stop Overpaying for UV Lamps That Don’t Actually Fit
If you run a small or mid-sized print shop, you know the struggle. You need a UV curing system that actually puts out the power you need, but the OEM prices are usually enough to make you wince. We think there’s a better way. We build custom UV lamps that fit your exact machine footprint—without the corporate markup.
Getting the power right
Here’s the thing about UV curing: it’s all about the energy hitting the ink. If it’s off, your ink doesn’t set. We don’t do “one size fits all.” We look at how fast your conveyor is moving and how thick your ink is. Need a high-wattage array to blast through a fast line? We’ve got you. Working with heat-sensitive materials that need a gentler touch? We can tweak the gas fill and electrode positions to make that happen. Just a heads-up: power density is what drives your cure rate. But if you crank up the wattage, make sure your power supplies and ballasts can actually handle the load. If they can’t, you’re just paying to burn out your gear prematurely.
No need to rebuild your shop
Nobody wants to spend a weekend tearing apart a curing chamber just to upgrade a lamp. That’s why we use high-purity quartz glass. It lets the UV light through effortlessly and doesn’t crack when things get hot. Since we build these as drop-in replacements, they slide right into your existing housing. Plus, we don’t ignore the small stuff. We use connectors and wiring that can take a beating. Your shop is loud, it vibrates, and it’s messy—your gear should be able to handle that.
Finding the “Sweet Spot”
There is a trade-off you have to watch out for: heat. High-output lamps get hot. Really hot. If you push for max wattage to speed up your throughput, you need to make sure your cooling fans or water jackets are up to the task. If the air gets too hot, your lamps won’t last nearly as long, and you might even start warping your substrates. We’ll work with you to find that perfect balance where your ink cures instantly, but your equipment stays cool.
